Hours: 37 per week – Term time only + 5 inset days + 2 weeks
Required from: July 2018
We are currently seeking a Data and Assessment Co-ordinator to be an integral part of a team with responsibility for the efficient running of the administration of all internal and external examinations within the school, including liaising with staff, students, invigilators, award organisations and external examiners. You will also be responsible for the day to day administration of the school’s data management, identifying improvement opportunities. Predominantly working with SIMS.net and Go 4 Schools, work alongside the Director of Assessment and Data on the administrative development of the school’s management information systems.
The successful candidate will have good knowledge of the expectations of examination and accreditation boards, their systems, procedures and regulations, detailed knowledge of SIMS.net and its functions and knowledge and understanding of the collection, use and analysis of data. You will also have experience of administering examinations within a school environment and working on a variety of software packages, working with complex documents and providing analysis of data. You will be able to evidence of a good standard of numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.
The school is situated in a pleasant location which is only 30 minutes to Brighton by rail or car and close to London rail links at Gatwick.

Ifield Community College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in West Sussex serving students from the ages of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Crawley has approximately 1,020 students on role.
Ifield Community College was established in 1966, with a new school building opening in the centre of campus in 2005. The secondary school has a broad range of sporting faciltiies, including a fitness suite, tennis courts and a large playing field.
