  DATA ASSISTANT

 Permanent Post

Part Time (10 hours per week)

 39 weeks (Term Time only)

  Salary Scale D1, points 15-17  (£18,603 - £19,374 per annum* pro-rata)

Actual Salary: £4,491 - £4,677 p.a.

We are seeking to recruit a part time Data Assistant to assist with maintaining the school’s SIMS database and other records. Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher, you will ensure that accuracy is maintained and provide regular reports in line with the reporting calendar.

The successful candidate will have good typing skills, an eye for detail and an ability to meet deadlines. Ideally you will have experience of maintaining databases in a school context but training will be given.

Preferably, you will be available to work Mondays to Fridays, for 2 hours per day. There will, however, be a requirement to meet strict deadlines, so an element of flexibility will be required and there will sometimes be the need for you to work the 10 hours per week over a couple of days instead. One weeks’ notice will be given on such occasions.

This is a very exciting time to join our school as we have recently been recognised as ‘good’ in our ofsted inspection and have also just benefitted from becoming part of a Multi Academy Trust, ‘Every Child, Every Day’, along with Grey Court School in Ham (an ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ school).

If you want to work with us we look forward to hearing from you.  For further information about the school please visit our school website www.hollyfield.kingston.sch.uk for an application form and job description.

Only applications submitted on the School’s Application Form will be considered.

Closing date for receipt of applications is 9am on Thursday 1st December 2016

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.       SWPXK
