Aureus School is a brand new, state of the art STEAM specialist comprehensive 11-16 school that opened on the Great Western Park, Didcot, in September 2017. Our mission is simple: we will strive to educate the whole student so that each individual in our community may ‘Grow, Learn and Flourish’. We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a Data Officer to start with us in September 2018. (15 hours per week).

Core purpose:

To be responsible for inputting, analysing and interpreting pupil progress data using SIMS assessment suite and other software

To collect, organise, input, analyse and interpret data and statistics in order to provide management information for the Leadership Team and school community

To analyse data and track trends 

To work alongside the Leadership Team to identify key areas of focus

Key Accountabilities:

To update and maintain accurate data records 

To input and analyse pupil progress data

To prepare pupil progress statements and send to parents / carers

To produce management information, data and statistics as requested 

Provide summary statements

Present information in a clear and accurate manner

To collect information for the production and distribution of reports

Accountable to:

Deputy Headteacher for Curriculum and Assessments
