Database Administrator

This is an opportunity to join a very successful Prep School as Database Administrator/IT specialist, working alongside the School Secretaries who run the Office/Reception. While the current restrictions limit visitors, the hours will be to 8am to 1pm, but once things get back to normal, a full day (9 hours including 1hr lunch break) will be required. Working days will be Tuesday to Friday, during term time, plus an additional two weeks spread around the year.

We are looking for strong IT knowledge, particularly of Office 365 and databases (we have iSAMS), with an emphasis on the production of information in report form, and manipulation of data in Excel and PowerPoint. As the office is busy, it is important to be able to focus and concentrate of a wide variety of tasks without getting flustered or frustrated when one job can’t be finished because there is a child who needs help. The role would suit a well-organised candidate who enjoys crunching numbers. IT skills will be tested at interview, including all the products in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams).
