Job overview

We are looking for exceptional individuals to fill these integral roles from September 2021 as a key part of our ongoing efforts to provide sector-leading pastoral care across the school.

The Day HsMs of Jarrett, Sharp and Thomas will embody all that is good about Bredon School, holding the pastoral, academic and extra-curricular development of their charges at the heart of all they do. They will not work in loco parentis but rather cum parentibus, working in conjunction with parents and guardians to achieve successful outcomes for the pupils in their houses.

At Bredon we pride ourselves on a truly individualised approach and success criteria will be different for each pupil in our care. HsMs will be capable of inspiring academic excellence, encourage involvement in a broad range of extra-curricular activities and develop their students’ confidence, empathy and social skills.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong and lasting commitment to our extensive activities programme and make a significant positive contribution to the wider life of the school.

A co-educational independent boarding and day school for children aged 8 to 18 years old, situated in beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.

The School currently has 240 pupils and since 2014, has been under the ownership of Cavendish Education Ltd.
