Plumstead Manor is a thriving and popular secondary school located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. There has been a school on our site since 1913, with the first 105 years as a girls’ school. In response to local demand we admitted our first mixed cohort in 2018 and gradually move to being fully co-educational by 2022.

Our goal is to inspire and nurture young people of all abilities and backgrounds to develop a love of learning which will sustain them throughout their lives. It is this which will successfully see them into further education and the fulfilling career of their choice. We believe that high quality teaching, in a safe and friendly environment, is the key to unlocking the potential of all our young people so that they can go on to change the world for the better.

About you

We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic History teacher, to lead our History Department, facilitating and encouraging inspirational learning experiences. As a Deputy Curriculum Leader within the Humanities faculty which includes Geography, History and Social Science (Politics, Psychology and Sociology), you will manage and monitor the curriculum development of history across all key stages. You will also be responsible for Politics at KS5.
