Our client is a top Independent school located 90km from the beautiful North Queensland coast. The school seeks an aspiring Dean of Students. For the right person this position holds the opportunity to be developed and mentored into a more Executive Leadership position within the school.

Our client seeks to appoint a Dean of Students to fill a full time permanent position from January 2019. The successful applicant will have responsibility for overseeing the pastoral care learning program in the senior school; be an active member of the Pastoral Care Committee; support teachers in the development and implementation of pastoral care programs; support classroom teachers with behaviour management strategies; and, initiate and organise student well-being practices. The school will assist with relocation and also offer subsidized accommodation. This full-time continuing position will commence at the beginning of 2019 academic year. Successful candidates must be willing to participate in extra-curricular activities as well as uphold the school ethos.
