The College operates across two closely located campuses, next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus at Regent Road.

In this context, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified, self-motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Curriculum Area Leader to join the Biology, Chemistry and Applied Science department. The successful applicant will specialise in the teaching of Chemistry and Applied Science.  

The capacity to support the Curriculum Leader to lead and motivate staff, and students, will be essential, as the successful person will help us to provide the best possible learning experiences and outcomes for our students. 


THE CURRICULUM AREA 

Staff

The Biology, Chemistry and Applied Science (BCAS) team currently comprises fifteen highly experienced and dedicated teaching staff and seven laboratory technicians. 

Resources

Major laboratory refurbishment throughout the sciences has taken place recently.  We now have an exceptional well-resourced curriculum area. 

For our part we shall make every effort to support our new colleagues in making the best of the professional opportunities offered by this post.
