Hours: 36 hours per week, (Term Time + 4 weeks)
The Skills Hub is a secondary co-educational alternative provision predominantly
working with students who are at risk of or are permanently excluded from
mainstream education.
We are looking for a Full time Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead who will share
responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school. They will
advise and support other members of staff on child protection and safeguarding
matters and liaise with relevant agencies such as the local authority and police.
Working with students, families, staff and other agencies.
We invite applicants who are experienced and are passionate about working with
young people that present with mental health needs and challenging behaviours
and can remain calm and non-judgemental when under pressure.
