Job overview

This role is key in our ongoing growth in creating an outstanding culture of challenge and support to our academies in providing the very best for our students.

You will become a member of the Trust’s Director team and will frequently work closely with the Trust’s Director of Behaviour and Attendance, Executive Principals and Regional Directors to ensure a strong and robust student support network, with focus on behaviour and attendance strategies across all our academies. For the first four terms you will be predominantly working in Co-op Academy Manchester four days a week with the fifth day working across the Trust with the other Director of Behaviour and Attendance.

Some of your work will be delivering CPD, directing the policies, practices and their implementation relating to behaviour. At first we will want you to develop an outstanding and strong behaviour and attendance model in one of our long established schools Co-op Academy Manchester setting the standard but also working across the Trust with the other Director of Behaviour and Attendance ensuring we have the highest expectations and standards for behaviour and attendance

Some of your work will involve the coordination of leaders in the technical and legal elements of attendance, whose role it is to provide our academies with immediate and expert advice.

This is a perfect role for a highly driven, highly successful senior leader in an academy who wishes to take the next step in developing their strategic impact in the area of student support. You will need to show levels of assertiveness and capability as that of our Principals and Headteachers but who perhaps wish to continue their career along a different route.
