The Littlehampton Academy is seeking an outstanding practitioner with the presence, experience and vision to make a difference to the progress of students and continued development of staff. A recruitment incentive (negotiable) is available for a candidate with a proven track record of success.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant and ambitious academy and to help shape its future. The Littlehampton Academy is a large academy with an ethos that supports the development of both staff and students. We are determined to improve student performance in all areas.

The successful candidate will be motivated, creative and resilient; an outstanding practitioner in the classroom; and with the necessary leadership skills to improve the effectiveness of colleagues to ensure successful outcomes are reached.

Ably led by the Director of Faculty, our large team of enthusiastic and supportive science teachers is based in a suite of 14 newly refurbished and well-resourced laboratories.

Our current focus is the continued development of an innovative and engaging KS3 curriculum based on skills and independent enquiry. At KS4, students follow a range of flexible and personalised learning pathways leading to a variety of accredited courses including AQA 9-1 GCSE science trilogy. At post-16, courses include physics, chemistry and biology to A2 Level.
