A well-qualified and experienced teacher with a proven track record in the most academically rigorous aspects of Sixth Form teaching. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding and experience of Oxbridge admissions and a willingness to develop expertise in all areas of the role. The Deputy Director of Sixth Form will deputise for the Director of Sixth Form as required and will be supported by the Sixth Form Administrators. In addition to teaching the Deputy Director of Sixth Form will take on the roles of Oxbridge Coordinator and Sixth Form Perspectives Coordinator.

St Mary's School Ascot is a leading Roman Catholic girls' boarding school set in 55 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Berkshire. There are 120 pupils in the sixth form. We are committed to full boarding, with spaces for a few day pupils living nearby. We offer a stimulating range of co-curricular activities which take place in the evenings and throughout the weekend.
St Mary’s has a strong reputation as an academic school within the Catholic tradition. Entry to the school is selective. All pupils are expected to take 9 or 10 GCSEs, and almost all stay on for the Sixth Form to pursue their A Levels. Our leavers invariably go on to higher education, the vast majority to Russell Group universities or similar, including 10-15% to Oxbridge.
