We have a great opportunity at HMP Haverigg to join the education team as a Deputy Education Manager / SENCO. The purpose of this role is to effectively plan and manage the deployment of staff and resources to deliver a high quality learning experience and to ensure that the special educational needs of learners are identified, assessed and met.

To do this successfully you’ll need to:

  • Implement staff in line with high quality delivery and maintenance of an effective team.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of all funding and compliance activity.
  • Recruit, develop and retain a highly skilled delivery team to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and implement appropriate policies, strategies and processes to meet the special education and training needs of learners.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and security requirements.

(You must be able to demonstrate in your application that you meet the qualifications, experience and skills in both the Deputy Education Manager and SENCO role profiles)
