Deputy Head (Academic)

On the retirement of our current Deputy Head (Academic), after 17 years of successful leadership, we are looking to appoint his successor from 1st September 2021.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership and management of all academic matters in the Senior School (11-18) and as such a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

It is essential that you have experience in leadership of an academic department or senior leadership, possess the highest level of administrative and analytical skills and be educated to Graduate level, Postgraduate teaching qualification including Qualified Teacher Status.  

The School combines tradition and innovation in its educational and academic ethos.  High academic standards and a desire to achieve permeate all levels of the School, resulting in outstanding A Level results and exceptional DfE value added scores in 2018 and 2019. Almost all Sixth Form leavers progress to their universities and courses of choice, with Oxbridge and other Russell Group establishments proving popular destinations.
