The position would suit someone with strong CPD credentials, experience of structure and systems, and a good people person.

A. THE SCHOOL

Stafford International School offers the EYFS Curriculum for England and for children in Years 1 – 6 the school provides the English National Curriculum, developed to suit our international context. We then go on to do IGCSE’s and A Levels with excellent results. Pupils subsequently go off to top universities around the world. The school is highly popular with waiting lists for students to join the school in most year groups.

We currently have around 1100 students and about 110 teachers across the school. With year groups around 75 we pride ourselves on a strong family atmosphere. It is lovely to teach student who want to learn and do well, and discipline is not really an issue here.

The school is located in Colombo 7 (the Knightsbridge of Colombo). The school buildings have air-conditioning and provide good facilities. The school has high-quality internet throughout the entire campus and all children from Year 10 to Year 13 use a laptop at school every day.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful, green paradise: with year-round good weather, friendly people, and magnificent flora and fauna. It is an island steeped in history, it has amazing World Heritage sites and fabulous beaches and hotels. It has frequently been voted as one of the world's best tourist destinations. Known as the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean” it is not hard to see why.
