About the Role

The Business and Tourism Management department are a well-established team at the centre delivering Vocational Business and Tourism from Level 1 to level 3, including a growing Vocational A level provision in collaboration with other departments to ensure our students reach beyond their targets and progress to HE, Apprenticeships or meaningful employment. We are future proofing the area with plans to deliver both the Transition and the T level in Business and are looking for a dynamic and resourceful Deputy Head who can develop and lead Teaching, Learning and Assessment across the area. They will need to be a confident communicator with both internal and external stakeholders. The ability to adapt and support change that allows the department to gain excellent achievement rates and increase numbers is key.
