Tes is supporting the appointment of an experienced, committed, and dynamic individual to work with a Head of Education at a school based in Richmond upon Thames to lead their education service.
The school's aim is to provide a quality and engaging service to young people to help them to achieve the best possible outcomes. Their Education team work with young people to engage them with education provision, to develop them through learning, to increase their self-confidence, improve their wellbeing, and to gain experiences which will improve their employability and their access to opportunities upon their release.
As Deputy Head of Education you will play a key role in providing strategic and operational direction, managing and coaching the Education team with a focus on driving high quality performance and outcomes. You will bring your experience to the role to inform effective strategies for supporting young people with complex needs and barriers.
You will have:
- A passion for helping young people reach their potential
- Experience of teaching within an alternative education provision
- Experience of leading and managing and developing individuals and teams
- The ability to motivate and inspire others
