An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the thriving and innovative Faculty of Media and Performing Arts at Exeter College. We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking individual who is passionate about the creative and performing arts. This post will support the Head of Faculty, working with staff and students across the Faculty in both strategic and operational capacities. We are looking for a dynamic, conscientious individual with a total commitment to supporting the Faculty to achieve the best outcomes for our learners. The Faculty delivers a range of Level 2 and 3 academic and vocational programmes in Media, Music, and Performing & Production Arts subjects. The Faculty boasts line of sight partnerships with local and national employers and works closely with employers such as the BBC and the Northcott Theatre to provide the best experience for our learners. Teaching in the Faculty is delivered across the Centre for Creative Industries, the Centre for Music Performance and our facilities include: Spark Radio, a BBC studio, our TV Studio, the CCI Theatre, a number of mac suites, performance spaces, recording and sound studios and our new Dance Studio.

The successful candidate will be inspirational, driven and demonstrate a passion for continual improvement in this new role. Due to our current staffing, we welcome applications from candidates with Drama, Acting and Media backgrounds. In addition to their faculty management role, the successful candidate will act as a tutor to a group of learners and be the key lead for supporting English and Maths Coordination across the Faculty. You will be committed to excellence in teaching, learning and training, have successful experience of management/co-ordination in a Further Educational or sixth form setting. You will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in media/film, music or performing/production arts qualifications. Successful middle leadership experience would be an advantage.
