About the Role:

  • Permanent role
  • January 2023 start
  • Pastoral leadership of students within Junior School, specifically with the respect to behavioural management
  • In conjunction with classroom teachers, act as the parent contact for coordinating and resolving high level Pastoral care matters
  • Manage the day-to-day operational elements of the Junior School such as the Duty Roster, teache absences and internal relief
  • Coordination of Junior School assembles and Junior School events, inj conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Conduct enrolment interviews and tours for prospective students and their parents in Years 1-6
  • Oversee Junior School Extra-curricular activities in collaboration with Director of Sport and Activities and Head of Department
  • Participate, as appropriate, in school decision making


Selection Criteria:

  • Be suitably qualified with an Education Teaching Degree (qualification must be recognised in Australia)
  • Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with QCT
  • Ability to provide current and relevant teaching references from Middle Management/Executive Leadership level (please note referees will not be contacted prior to your express approval, and all applications are treated in complete confidentiality)
