Aldar Academies are currently seeking an outstanding Deputy Head of Language Acquisition and Language Learning in Abu Dhabi commencing September 2019, or earlier by negotiation. The successful candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. Also, possess energy and enthusiasm to deliver lessons that engage, enthuse and motivate our learners.
1.1 To fully support the Head of Language Acquisition and Language Learning in Academy’s vision and values;
1.2 To assist the Head of Language Acquisition and Language Learning with ensuring that Aldar Education is always presented positively;
1.3 To carry out any duties as reasonably directed by the line manager;
1.4 To rigorously adhere to the Aldar’s safeguarding procedures.
- B.ED in English Language or BA in English Language Degree with PGCE is essential.
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- 4 years of experience teaching ESL
- A good knowledge of primary pedagogy across all curricula
- Working within a diverse environment of second language learners
