St John’s Marlborough is a high performing academy and a key member of the highly effective Excalibur Academies Trust. An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic permanent Deputy Head of Maths to join a high achieving, supportive faculty. We are looking for an excellent candidate to work with the Head of Mathematics to lead the development and delivery of a knowledge-rich curriculum that is exciting, creative and diverse. The successful candidate will be a passionate and outstanding practitioner who is confident teaching across the ability range for all key stages. They will have a keen interest in the latest research and theory around the teaching of mathematics. 

 

The Maths faculty, as well as the rest of the Academy, performs at a high level and it has a clear focus on students making excellent progress. We can offer you the opportunity to teach Maths and Further Maths up to and including A level although teaching at this level is not a requirement.  You will join a faculty that is celebrating positive and improving results, where the impact of your leadership will further strengthen outcomes.
