Phorms Education is a future-oriented employer in the field of education. As of March 1st, 2022 Strothoff International School as an IB World School (supplementary school - Ergänzungsschule) has officially joined the Phorms network. In addition to the existing supplementary school, a new substitute school branch (Ersatzschule) will be established, which will start in the school year 2022/23. The new substitute school branch will incorporate an entry level class (from 5 years old) and a 1st grade.

Deputy Head of School and Head of Teaching and Learning

(Part-time or full-time)

Your profile & your tasks

•  you are a qualified teacher who holds a Master of Education, a Certificate of Education or a higher qualification
• you have a minimum of seven years experience in an International School environment and at least two years experience as a principal
• as the Head of Teaching and Learning you are also responsible for developing the school’s strategic pedagogical development plan
• you take excellent educational work forward and have experience in curricula development and quality assurance in the area of school development
• you have a passion for teaching and the ability to provide an inspiring education as you would be teaching about 8 lessons per week.
• you are motivated to secure the academic and emotional progress of your students
• you are dedicated to enabling all students to achieve their potential
• you can identify with our pedagogical concept and are motivated to implement it creatively together in a team
• you have an interest in learning German and being a part of the German culture and community
• you can speak and teach English at a native speaker level
