Deputy Head of School

The Pegasus Academy Trust is a group of four schools located in Thornton Heath in the London Borough of Croydon. You can find out all about us on our website www.pegasusacademytrust.org. We have 9 forms of entry on 6 sites and provide education for over 1500 pupils. We are seeking to recruit to a key leadership position to join the SLT in the next phase of our development from September 2016. This Deputy Head of School post will join the existing ten strong SLT responsible for ensuring quality provision across the Trust. The successful applicant will initially be based initially at our Whitehorse Manor site assisting the Heads of School there.

This role is non class based and in addition to Deputy duties on the Whitehorse Manor site the successful candidate may also work on curriculum development projects and staff development across other schools in the Trust.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you are an excellent teacher, with strong curriculum skills, that you have experience with SEN and EAL children and that you have the desire to make a difference.
