Hampton Lakes is a new 4 – 11 primary free school, which opened in September 2019 to an initial intake of 26 children in reception.  From 2020, the school PAN was set at 60 and will continue to grow into a two-form entry primary school, with 420 children, complete with a 26 place nursery. Hampton Lakes is part of the Hampton Academies Trust who also run the highly successful and popular Hampton College, Hampton Gardens and Dogsthorpe Infant schools.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Deputy Head of School to join Hampton Lakes Primary School. This is a new role within our current school structure and will provide an exciting and unique opportunity for a person with senior leadership experience, wishing to develop their career in a school.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of a new and growing school. As a Deputy Head of School, you will:

• Work closely with the Head of School to take the school on the next phase of its journey.

• Help shape the strategic direction of the school and ensure a sharp focus on raising progress and attainment within a caring and aspirational environment.

• Be an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated leader with a visible presence around the school.

• Be a leader who is a great teacher and who cares deeply about the prospects of young people and is passionate about education.

• Motivate and support teachers and support staff.

• Work in a brand new, state of the art school building.

Candidates who are to be invited for interview will be notified before the end of Tuesday 2 March 2021

Interviews will take place on 4 & 5 March 2021
