Deputy Head of The Bee Hive  

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Deputy Head for The Bee Hive, our innovative and exciting sixth form centre. We offer an employability and vocational skills curriculum, within a thriving business environment, that includes a café, retail areas and a wellbeing centre open to the local community.

Northgate School is an Outstanding provision (Ofsted 2017) ‘A vibrant and welcoming place. Students achieve extremely well because of the excellent teaching and many opportunities they have to become more independent’  Our young people have a wide range of SEND from SLD to MLD with more than a third of the population having ASD. Pupils may also have a physical or sensory impairment.  

We are looking for someone special to join our academy senior leadership team. You will have: proven experience and knowledge of post 16 provision for students with SEND, including leading pastoral systems and will have recent experience of successful leadership.  You will be able to demonstrate inspirational team leadership and development, excellent organisational and management skills and evidence of a key contribution to sustained school improvement.
