The Governors of Holy Trinity School seek to appoint a senior leader with the experience and knowledge to lead the school in its development of all aspects of Pastoral Care, Behaviour for Learning, Inclusion and Safeguarding.  This new post offers an exciting opportunity to develop our students’ capacity to learn and flourish. 

Holy Trinity is a Voluntary Aided Church of England school of 1250 students aged 11 to 19.  We are a vibrant multi-faith, multi-cultural community underpinned by core Christian values.  Our mission is to be a center of excellence for learning inspired by Christian values where young people fulfill their potential. We pride ourselves in the pastoral care and development of all students. We are located in Crawley, West Sussex. 

We are looking for an inspirational senior leader who:

We are seeking candidates who will commit to upholding our values and ethos as a faith school; however, although desirable, applicants do not need to be a practising Christian. 

Tours of the school can be arranged on either Wednesday 19th or Thursday 20th September via HR.

Welcome to the Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School. We are a Voluntary Aided Church school with a rich history and a reputation for excellence.  

The school was opened in 1969 by the Queen and is believed to be the first purpose built Church of England comprehensive school in the country. Today it is an over-subscribed and vibrant multi-faith, multi-cultural school serving three deaneries of Cuckfield, East Grinstead and Horsham, and the community of Crawley, providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. This is a happy school where faith is valued and which is underpinned by core Christian values of mutual respect and compassion based on the Gospel of Christ.

We are proud of our ethos, our all-round high standards and our strong emphasis on personal development. We believe children deserve the best education possible and values that prepare them for the future. We are committed to providing both.

We have approximately 1250 students in years 7 to 13.  

We offer staff a comprehensive induction programme and an appraisal programme to match CPD to their needs. We also share good practice and we engage in the TEEP programme to enhance our teaching and learning in the classroom.  We support, empower and challenge staff to make a real difference in raising standards and have many examples of staff that have fast-tracked their career.    

The school is an easy commute via public transport from Brighton, and from other parts of East or West Sussex and from Surrey.
