
Deputy Head - Pastoral

Following retirement, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to help lead one of the country’s most successful and dynamic schools.
The successful candidate will play a leading part in shaping and developing the pastoral life of our highly regarded School. Reporting to the Headmaster, you will be a member of an energetic and supportive Senior Leadership Team and take a key role in whole school strategic and operational leadership.
This is a truly exciting time in the history of Haberdashers’, with a new strategic plan committed to closer collaboration with the Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls, and the development of the Elstree campus over the next decade.
Applicants should be a good honour graduates of a leading university, have experience of leading and managing in a successful school environment and be willing to be fully involved in all aspects of the School’s busy life. A track record of outstanding teaching is essential, but no specific specialist subject is sought. A willingness to contribute to the School’s extensive co-curricular programme is also required.
The post would suit an ambitious candidate aspiring for a future headship.
