Job overview
We seek to employ an inspirational pastoral practitioner who demonstrates excellent experience in the strategic leadership and development of a robust safeguarding culture and outstanding child-centred pastoral care.
The successful candidate will be ambitious to take on this role as a step towards future Headship and will demonstrate outstanding emotional intelligence, organisational and communication skills. They will devise and promote a culture of incremental, child-centred pastoral development in which pupils learn personal integrity, independence and inspiration.
The job description which follows identifies the scope of the role, including the breadth of pastoral activities on which the successful candidate will report to the School’s Pastoral Committee and through this to the Full Board of Governors.

Founded in 1935, we are a vibrant and successful (IAPS) Day Prep School for boys and girls aged between 3 and 13, characterised by a genuine commitment to the pursuit of excellence. There are currently around 430 pupils at the School and approximately 150 staff.
