We wish to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Deputy Head (Pastoral) for our Junior School, Clock House. This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional individual to lead on the strategic development of the pastoral curriculum, being responsible for communicating its vision to the whole school community and ensuring that the strategy is delivered effectively.
The new Deputy Head (Pastoral) will be expected to deal with all pastoral issues including parental concerns, rewards, sanctions, discipline and mental health concerns and working to continue to inspire this happy and successful school to build on its many achievements.
Located in a cosmopolitan urban setting, but drawing equal numbers of pupils from the attractive and established suburbs of West Yorkshire and the lower Dales, the School is a flagship for independent education in the North. Above all, it is a happy school and a rewarding place to work.

About Bradford Grammar School
Bradford Grammar School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent school situated in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The school caters for children from junior school through to sixth form, aged between 6-19. Admission is by exam. There are approximately 1,120 students at the school.
Bradford Grammar School was founded in 1662 by Royal Charter and has been based on its current site since 1949. It shares a site with its junior school, Clock House. Facilities include specialist sports grounds, a swimming pool and gym.

These include a debating society which competes at national level and a cadet force. Pupils at the school are high achievers and in 2016, 71% of GCSE results were awarded A* or A.
