Rowan Preparatory School are seeking to appoint an inspirational and outstanding Deputy Head who will also be responsible for the Preschool and Pre-Prep from Nursery to Year 2.

The Deputy Head will be member of the Senior Leadership Team and have responsibility for the teaching, learning and pastoral care of pupils from Nursery to Year 2. The successful candidate will be full of energy, ideas, warmth and laughter, and will provide vision and leadership to a team of committed and dedicated teachers and assistants ensuring the continuing development of this busy and highly successful girls' prep school. Outstanding teaching ability and experience of Early Years and KS1 is essential and understanding of modern educational developments and a willingness to contribute to the wider areas of school life is required. The individual must be a strategic thinker and confident to lead change, someone who is excited to act as a pioneer in developing new initiatives and innovative pedagogy.
