We are excited to be recruiting for a Deputy Head, Strategy and Operations (DHSO). The DHSO will be a key member of the Leadership Team.
They will be instrumental in promoting and providing the highest quality of education for our pupils. They will work collaboratively with other members of the Leadership Team in leading and managing the School, developing the strategic vision for the School and in championing all aspects of its leadership as part of the School’s Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring teacher with strong experience of the Prep School age group. They will maintain very high standards and expectations in teaching up to the Key Stage 3 and/or 4. No specific academic subject specialism is required for the successful candidate, who will be expected to teach a reduced timetable.
Experience in middle management in a school environment is key. The vacancy may suit a candidate who already has experience of such a post, or an individual seeking a first deputy headship who is currently leading a large department.

The post holder will be credible in the role and able to speak publicly with consummate skill to a range of stakeholders. The role may well suit an aspiring Head.
The post holder will be highly organised, able to think strategically and tactically, a superb communicator with the ability to take a team with them. They should also be adept at delivering large scale projects, demonstrating emotional intelligence, a variety of leadership styles and above all humility and a sense of humour.
