The governors of this successful and popular school wish to appoint a dynamic Deputy Head teacher. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed leader to work in partnership with the head teacher and senior leadership team, to build on our successes and drive the school forward in future development and growth.   • Has experience of leading either a core subject or areas that will inspire others.
  • Has had experience teaching across the key stages.
  • Has an excellent understanding of assessment and tracking pupil progress from EYFS to KS2.
  • The ability to lead with sensitivity and a good sense of humour.
  • Commitment to involving parents and community in the life of the school.

Following the shortlisting process, successful candidates will be invited for interview.

The selection process will involve a number of assessed exercises which can range from a one to one exercise to a written exercise, and a panel interview.(TBC after shortlisting.)

The successful candidate will be informed soon after the decision has been ratified by the Governing Body.

Unsuccessful (shortlisted) candidates will get the opportunity to obtain verbal feedback from the Head Teacher once the process is completed.
