We are at an exciting time as Mere Green Primary School are seeking to appoint a talented individual to join our Outstanding school as Deputy Head Teacher ideally from April 2018 however start date is negotiable.

We are seeking someone who recognises and can demonstrate that relationships with students and staff are at the centre of what makes us outstanding.

Mere Green Primary School is an outstanding two form, family orientated school. We are driven to 'make a difference' for all our children, through support, nurture and trust. In addition to our mainstream children, we also have 20 places for children with statements for speech, language and communication from North Birmingham, who have enhanced speech provision across the school day. The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP) is a respected multi-academy trust of four primary schools, three secondary schools, five children’s centres and one teaching school, based in Coleshill, Erdington and Four Oaks. The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with responsibility for Child Protection is the Executive Headteacher Anna Balson and the Associate Headteacher Kristal Brookes. There are a number of deputy safeguarding leads; which include our Phase Leaders and Senior Learning Mentor.
