The Headteacher and Governors of Compton CofE Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding Deputy Headteacher for our high achieving school. Our current, excellent deputy will be retiring and we require an equally strong replacement.

Compton CofE is a two-form entry school with 430 children on role. We are popular, always oversubscribed and well respected within the City of Plymouth. We are looking for someone who will contribute to the further improvement of our school. Someone who will work well with our wonderful staff and the Senior Leadership Team, lead improvement initiatives and someone who will LEARN, ACHIEVE and FLOURISH. We are committed as a school to developing leadership throughout and therefore are keen that the successful candidate will view this post as a journey towards headship. We will fully support you in that journey.
