Job overview
Newlands is a generic Primary Special school for 120 pupils aged 3-11, co-located with a mainstream Primary School.
We are looking for a multi-talented Deputy Head who is kind, inspirational and reflective. Applications are invited from experienced candidates who have excellent knowledge and understanding of children with SEND and the skills to work collaboratively within our large and enthusiastic team.
The role includes a wide range of responsibilities and challenges, with opportunities to lead and shape positive change. As a non-classed based Deputy Head, the role includes proactive support of teaching and learning, so that together with parents and other professionals we can ensure that our children secure the very best outcomes possible, linked to our School Mission – “We Can and We Do”
