Deputy Head Teacher

St. Bede’s is a popular school with cheerful, well motivated and hardworking staff and pupils. Following the promotion of our current Deputy Headteacher, the Governors wish to appoint an outstanding Deputy Headteacher for September 2016. The successful candidate will work alongside the Headteacher and a team of motivated professionals who are dedicated to developing and delivering outstanding practice throughout the school.

The Governors of this ‘Good’ school have a real drive to move towards Outstanding and need to have amongst the Senior Leadership Team a Deputy Headteacher who:

• Is a committed Catholic with a clear vision of education and leadership in a Catholic school
• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner who enjoys leading, supporting, challenging and inspiring others
• Has experience and knowledge of the Primary phase
• Has a proactive approach to leading school improvement and a clear vision of school improvement strategies
• Has vision, drive and energy
• Has great interpersonal skills and an ability to strengthen parent, parish and community partnerships
• Is skilled in all aspects of data management and analysis
• Has proven experience of leading and managing areas of school improvement and change
