Deputy Head Teacher

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking team in a successful all age Special School. Our Deputy has recently successfully been promoted to a Head Teacher post and so we are seeking a resourceful, committed and creative individual with the appropriate interpersonal skills to join us in the pivotal role of Deputy Head Teacher.

Reynalds Cross is a highly successful and family orientated special school for children and young people with severe learning difficulties and complex special education needs. Reynalds Cross serves 106 amazing children and young people from EYFS through to Key Stage 5 who are very well supported by a highly dedicated and hard-working team of professionals. In a small Authority, the school works very effectively with its neighboring schools and other special schools.

At Reynalds Cross, our ethos is to provide support for children and families, with a focus on all aspects of a child’s life; their education, their health, their social needs and their futures. We are looking for a Deputy Head Teacher who will not only share these values, but who will actively pursue their delivery.

Applications would be welcome from candidates in special schools, primary or secondary mainstream schools who can demonstrate a good knowledge of special educational needs.
