Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools: six primaries and two 11-16 schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.
We are seeking to appoint a deputy headteacher to join the leadership team at The King’s School from January 2019 (or sooner). This is an ideal opportunity for exceptional leaders to play a pivotal role in The King’s School journey from Good to Outstanding.
The successful candidate will be an innovative leader with energy, drive and a proven track record of raising standards, working in a high performing school. You will have an expert knowledge about the process of learning, the ability to make a difference, and the capability to drive high-quality learning and teaching to stretch and challenge all our learners to reach their potential.
You will be joining a Trust which is striving to move forward and embrace change. The Trustees are very supportive of the School and our ethos, whilst providing the necessary challenge to secure excellence.
