Deputy Headteacher

St Thomas (Halliwell) C E Primary School is a ‘Good’ school, graded outstanding for leadership and management, personal development, behaviour and welfare, and early years (Ofsted July 2016).  We also achieved outstanding in all four areas of our SIAMS Inspection (March 2016)

Due to the promotion of our Deputy Headteacher, the Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher to the role of Deputy Headteacher from September 2018. 

The Deputy Headteacher will have a Key Stage 2 teaching responsibility in conjunction with a significant amount of non-teaching time to help shape, lead and implement the future direction of the school.
