We are seeking to recruit an exceptional leader to join the Senior Leadership Team at Scotts Park Primary school with Deputy Head Teacher responsibility across the school. Scotts Park Primary is currently a ‘Good’ school. The successful applicant will play a major role alongside the Senior Leadership Team, in raising expectations and outcomes in all areas across the school.

At Scotts Park we provide a caring and stimulating learning environment, enabling all our children to thrive, learn and enjoy their time at school. Parents and staff work together in an atmosphere of cooperation to promote a love of learning and the development of the whole person.

The successful applicant will play a major role alongside the Senior Leadership Team, in continuing to raise expectations and outcomes in all areas and ensure that every child is challenged. 

We are looking for someone who:

 • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a creative approach to teaching and learning 

• Has a proven record of supporting staff to improve their practice 

• Has proven experience of positively impacting on pupil progress, raising attainment, and developing excellence 

• Has significant experience of leading a core area 

• Is dedicated and ambitious 

• Is resilient with a strong personal drive

 • Is a good communicator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills 

• Is flexible and able to lead on key areas of school development as they change 

• Is able to offer support and direction for pupils and staff 

• Has a positive and solution focused approach 

• Has exceptionally high expectations of behaviour and achievement 

• Has experience in data management and assessment 

• Has the drive to make a real difference to the lives of pupils working alongside parents 

• Is willing to go above and beyond for the school and the children
