The Governors of St. Stephen’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding Deputy Headteacher to join our Leadership team from September 2017. We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Deputy Headteacher to work in partnership with the Headteacher in the management, leadership and development of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated and committed leadership team. The salary is £44,102 - £48,711 per annum.

The post is non-class based however the successful applicant will be required to do some variable teaching and may be responsible for a class at a given point in the future.

The successful applicant will be a highly committed, creative and forward thinking leader with the determination to lead the school through its journey from good to outstanding.

We are looking for a teacher with significant experience of primary teaching and knowledge of education and who is able to demonstrate excellent understanding of how to achieve the best outcomes for children through a proven track record of raising standards.

As Deputy Headteacher you will be expected to lead by example and inspire others, whilst providing challenge, rigour and strategic direction.

Shortlisting will take place on 28th March.
Interviews will be held 19th April and 21st April.

Tasks and interviews will be carried out over two days; full details will be provided to the candidates who are invited to interview. References for shortlisted candidates will be sought prior to interview.
