Prestwich Arts College is a mainstream, co-educational, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school for children aged 11-16.  It is situated in Prestwich, Manchester, near to the Metro link and the M60 motorway system and has 750 pupils on roll.  Prestwich Arts College is a school at the heart of the local community, which is diverse, creative and vibrant.  The schools vision is ‘realising greatness’; as they want every individual in its care to have the opportunity to realise their own greatness, whether that be on the sports field, in the choir, on the stage, in the computer room or in the science laboratory.

It is a school which is determined to move forward, they have a clear direction, with strong leadership and are 100% committed to making Prestwich Arts College the best school for pupils, parents and staff.  Head Teacher, Miss Rachel Evans has an uncompromising focus on ensuring pupils receive the best possible learning experience and she wants to ensure that pupils are taught engaging lessons, which allow them to think outside the box and which instil in them a love for learning and an enquiring mind. 

Prestwich Arts College facilities include a state-of-the-art theatre, music rooms, media suites, a dedicated dining area and a sports hall.
