Deputy Headteacher
Are you an inspiring and dynamic leader ready to make a real impact? Do you believe in the power of excellent education, strong community links, and a nurturing environment where every child can excel? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
The Daiglen School is a small, thriving independent school in the heart of Buckhurst Hill, known for its warm, family atmosphere and high academic standards. We are not an exam factory. Instead, we value academic excellence alongside a rich and balanced curriculum, strong pastoral care, and meaningful connections with our local community. Our pupils are encouraged to persevere, grow in confidence, and excel in a supportive and nurturing environment.
We are looking for a Deputy Head who will be at the heart of our school community. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of Daiglen and work together with the Head to lead on both academic and pastoral matters. You will also work closely with our dedicated staff to ensure every child feels known, valued, and inspired - both inside and outside the classroom.
If you are an exceptional teacher, a strategic thinker, and a passionate advocate for holistic education, we would love to meet you and welcome you to our school for interview.
Ready to take the next step? Apply now and tell us what you can bring to Daiglen!
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All employees are required to undertake child protection screening appropriate to the post, including enhanced DBS checks.
