To support the school in achieving our aspirations, we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher to be responsible for providing professional and strategic leadership and day to day management of the pastoral system within the school. This role will enable the school to give every student a high quality education and which promotes the highest possible standards of achievement and social, emotional development and wellbeing

 

The individual will show the following qualities:

  • Demonstrable successful leadership and management experience in a school

·        Experience of establishing a whole school culture of restorative practice with evidence of impact

·        Proven ability to lead and effectively line manage a team which is then in a position to ensure the best outcomes for our students and that support is having an impact.

·        Experience working with children / young people with additional needs (e.g. SEND, behavioural, mental health)

  • Can demonstrate high quality teaching and is able to inspire and enthuse students to learn
  • Has the ability to work on own initiative and to organise/prioritise own workload
  • Possesses the passion, skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students
