The Governing Body is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who will share our vision of education and support and lead the school into the future.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with drive, commitment and high aspirations to work in close partnership with the Headteacher, leadership team, staff, parents and governors to provide the very best education for our children in a happy and vibrant school.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:

  • works effectively as part of a team and in collaboration with the Headteacher to support our staff and to secure school improvement
  • has experience as a successful member of a leadership team
  • has excellent assessment and curriculum knowledge
  • can develop exceptional and positive relationships with all members of the school community
  • supports the values and ethos of our school

The vacancy has arisen due to our current deputy retiring at the end of this academic year.

Naunton Park Primary School is a two form entry community school of 433 children in the Leckhampton area of Cheltenham. It is a very popular, successful, friendly and family focused school. We are very proud that it was judged to be outstanding in every area in its last Ofsted inspection of 2013. However, we are committed to maintain our achievements and continue to provide the best for our children.
