Deputy Headteacher

CLR23 - CLR27

(Includes Inner London Weighting)

Required: January 2022

Do you have the vision, passion and energy to inspire our students and staff?

This is an exciting time to start your journey at CGA. You will be joining a strong, committed team who have a real sense of pride in the work they do and who will support and challenge you. We are looking for two inspiring Deputy Headteachers to lead on either Curriculum and Assessment or Inclusion and Engagement.

We are an over-subscribed 11-19 academy with a diverse and enthusiastic student body and highly skilled staff. We have exceptional outcomes at Key Stage 4 and 5 and provide a welcoming and inclusive learning environment where students are safe, valued and accepted.

If you have the experience and passion to be an inspirational role model for our next generation of female leaders, then we are keen to see how we can support you in that pursuit. We particularly welcome applications from candidates from groups who are underrepresented in school leadership. We recognise that what people bring through their personal experiences, background and identity significantly enhances our ability to deliver for our students, staff, parents and wider community.

Visits to the academy and pre-application conversations are welcomed.

Clapton Girls’ Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be DBS checked at an enhanced level before any offer is made.
