Deputy Headteacher

About the role

Required from January 2022 or sooner if possible, we are looking for an outstanding individual with proven leadership skills who can work well under pressure and able to adapt to challenging circumstances, taking robust decisions in the best interests of students. You will have a strong sense of moral purpose with the child being at the centre.

Falconer School is looking for an inspiring, resilient, and committed Deputy Headteacher with the right vision and ethos to help lead our team, working together on significant and innovative initiatives with the Headteacher and Governing Body.

You will be:

• Able to evidence successful leadership as an Assistant or Deputy Headteacher
• Striving for excellence for our students to gain them the best life chances
• Embedding a holistic approach to the curriculum, children and the community throughout your work
• Compassionate, open and transparent in your approach
• Able to listen and adapt your approaches to staff and students
• Able to demonstrate commitment to and experience of working with students with SEND needs
• Resilient, resourceful and determined
• Able to represent the school’s interests in the wider community
