Deputy Headteacher

Queensgate Foundation Primary School is a thriving two form entry primary school in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight. It was a newly established school in 2010 and has had two “good” Ofsted inspections since opening. Queensgate is currently rated as good and the new Deputy Head will play a crucial role in the journey to outstanding.

We are looking for a new Deputy Headteacher to start in January 2018.

We are looking for someone who:

• has recent outstanding teaching experience
• has the ability to coach other staff
• is able to know when things are going wrong and the ability to put them right
• has high energy levels
• can demonstrate personal impact on a school improvement journey
• is ambitious for themselves, the school and the children
• has a commitment to team work
• will get involved with the whole life of the school
• is a great communicator
• can drive school improvement to outstanding.
