DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

L20 - 24

Required for September 2022

This is a full-time permanent position.  We welcome applicants from either selective or wide ability settings, who share our thinking that effective collaboration is the best route to outstanding achievement, and who will have an unremitting focus on the high-quality learning, teaching and leadership required to support and move forward the aims of the Norton Knatchbull School as espoused in our Mission Statement and in our curriculum thinking.

The successful applicant will have the drive and passion to lead and accelerate improvement, a track record of success and will bring a level of focus, precision and rigour that will have a substantial and sustained impact on the school.  Improvement will be based on an unswerving focus on the quality of education, leading our development of curriculum thinking and teaching, learning and assessment with a strong commitment to collaboration within and beyond NKS. 

As well as being an excellent classroom teacher and tutor, applicants should be able to demonstrate experience of planning, leading and embedding effective change within schools, strategic improvement planning, effective working with a Governing body and team leadership.
