Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is looking to appoint an exceptional, experienced and talented leader as Deputy Headteacher, to join our highly effective Leadership Team.

Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a thriving community school with a healthy and open attitude to progress and change. The school is at an exciting stage of development, with new buildings and sports facilities, increasing numbers in all years, and a sixth form of some 300 students. You are open to new ideas, you are positive, solutions focused and committed to your own personal continuous development. Of course you are resilient and have a great sense of humour, as you never give up.

Our successful candidate will have responsibility for a number of key strategic whole school areas as well as leading effectively the full range of day-to-day operational duties. Candidates must already hold a Senior Management post of Assistant or Deputy Headteacher with demonstrable capacity to drive continued, rapid school improvement, lead staff and have clear impact on student outcomes. The post will carry specific responsibilities in a variety of areas that will benefit the team and the school; these will be discussed with candidates during the interview process. This post will provide an ideal opportunity for preparation for Headship.
